Luna Privacy Policy

1.What Luna Does

With Luna, users can record and estimate their period cycle, follow fertile days and intention-to-pregnancy tracking, view pregnancy week by week, record symptoms and mood, manage PMS-related tracking, add a partner, and set reminders. Luna provides tracking tools and general educational content. Luna is not a doctor, midwife, or medical service provider, and it does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor any disease or health condition in a medical capacity. For health-related decisions, users should seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.

2.Data We Collect

To use Luna, users must create an account or log into their existing account. Depending on the features users use and the information they choose to enter, Luna collects: ● Account data: name or display name, phone number, email address, user ID, login status, app language, and account settings. ● Cycle and wellness tracking data: period dates, cycle length, period duration, pregnancy status or pregnancy-related dates if entered, symptoms, moods, PMS-related entries, discharge, spotting, fertility-related logs, intention-to-pregnancy entries, partner settings, lifestyle logs, reminder preferences, and notes or other entries you choose to add. ● App activity data: app launches, feature use, settings changes, notification interactions, and similar product interaction data. ● Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic data. ● Support data: messages, attachments, contact details, and other information you send when contacting Luna support or privacy contact. Luna does not require users to provide every type of data. Some features work only when the user enters the relevant information.

3.Sensitive Data

Cycle, pregnancy, fertility, symptom, and sexual-health-related entries can be sensitive personal data. Luna uses this data only to provide app functionality, personalization inside Luna, reminders, syncing, support, security, and debugging. Luna does not sell this data and does not share it for advertising tracking.

4.Sharing With a Partner

If you use the partner feature, you can add a person as your partner and choose which parts of your information they can access. Depending on your choices, your partner may be able to see selected information about your period, symptoms, mood, spotting, fertility, sexual activity, pregnancy, reminders, or other information you choose to share. partner access is enabled only based on the user’s choice and permission. Users can change or remove partner access. Please add only someone you trust and want to see the information you choose to share.

5.How We Use Data

We use data to: ● create and manage user accounts; ● provide tracking features, predictions, reminders, and app settings; ● estimate period dates, ovulation timing, pregnancy week, and estimated due date; ● show general educational tips inside Luna; ● provide support and respond to privacy requests; ● maintain security, prevent abuse, and protect user data; ● understand app reliability and improve product quality through diagnostics and limited product analytics; ● comply with applicable legal obligations.

6.Educational Content Sources

Luna shows general tips about periods, PMS, pregnancy, nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness. These tips are general educational information and do not replace a doctor, midwife, or qualified healthcare professional. 7.Tracking, Advertising, and Sale of Data

Luna does not sell personal data. Luna does not use advertising tracking. Luna does not share cycle, pregnancy, fertility, symptom, or other sensitive tracking data with advertisers or data brokers.

8.Retention

Luna keeps personal data for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support deletion records. When an account is deleted, Luna deletes or anonymizes account data unless limited retention is required for security, legal compliance, or backup restoration controls.

9.Account and Data Deletion

Users can delete their account from inside the app by going to Profile and selecting the account deletion option. This deletes the account and associated data. Users may also request deletion by contacting privacy@luna.health . An email deletion request should include the phone number or email address connected to the account so Luna can verify the request. After deletion, account restoration may not be possible.

10.User Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To make a request, contact privacy@luna.health .

11.Age

Luna is intended for users aged 15 and older. Users who are not old enough to consent to data processing in their location should use Luna only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement, where allowed by law.

12.International Processing

Luna may process and store personal data in countries where Luna or its service providers operate. Luna uses appropriate safeguards where required by applicable privacy laws.

13.Changes to This Policy

Luna may update this Privacy Policy when the app, laws, or data practices change. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date.
